The NY Smart Energy Loan Includes

Unsecured loan (homeowner provides no collateral)

Competitive, fixed interest rate loan with a discount for automated (ACH) monthly repayments

Borrowers can finance $3,000 - $25,000 (except a minimum loan amount of $1,500 for Borrowers approved for the Assisted Home Performance with ENERGY STAR subsidy)

Loans above $13,000 are required to achieve a payback of 15 years or less

Loan repayment periods of 5, 10, or 15 years

Loan repayment period may not exceed the weighted useful life of the financed measures
